Yeah, I see what you mean - you probably didn't catch the earliest version of this post, which was quite a bit less enthusiastic. I still love "Goodbye Blues" more, even, but the more I listen to "Pretty. Odd." the more I get from "Oh, pretty" to "AJKSHDFJKAHF AWESOME!!" Maybe it just takes some time to let them sink, we all had such high (and possibly rather specific) expectations that need to be let go of before it sounds as good as it would have without them? I hope you get there, anyway.
