herzverstreut_bu01. Sharon, I got your package today - thank you soooo much! ♥ The scarf is lovely (and fits my new coat perfectly) and your card (that really is awesomely tacky) made me a bit teary. Now I'll always think happy thoughts when I wear that scarf. ♥ ♥ ♥

04. TV talk: ANTM Make-Overs! They were kind of boring this time, in my opinion, both what they did and how they did it. Marvita's new hairdo is interesting, I'm surprised at how Claire's and Stacy-Ann's short hair works, Dominique looks much better, and I didn't expect them to give Fatima long hair. And is it just me or did 90% of the "after" photos kind of suck? The challenge and the photoshoot were kind of blah as well - I want theatrical shoots with themes and crazy makeup!
As for judging, I'm really glad that Allison got eliminated. I didn't really understand why they let her into the competition to begin with, since I don't think she's particularly pretty, but whatever - Dominique's not the epitome of supermodel, either (in fact Allison probably had more talent), but at least she's not a conceited bitch. Seriously, I expected them to keep Allison in as long as they could, just for the potential drama.
Lauren getting called first was kind of a WTF-moment, but again, it's not like I understand the judges. To be honest, while she seems like a really cool person, for the show she's kind of like last season's Heather, but without the extraordinary looks to make up for it.
My favourites continue to be Marvita and Claire - they're both gorgeous, Marvita kicks ass and Claire seems really nice. I will never understand the "I want to be a model so my kid can have a better life" stance, though - have they ever read the job description? Especially for the kind of model that ANTM produces? Seriously.
Fatima needs to STFU, as does Amis. I really like Stacy-Ann and Whitney, though. Katarzyna and Aimee are mostly just forgettable.
This show is still such a guilty pleasure, but I can't wait for next week.
05. As for Skins... of course that could not end well. I'm really not sure what to think about the whole episode. I can see where Michelle is coming from, and I usually don't mind her, but this time I kind of wanted to bitchslap her a whole lot - asking Tony to get better FOR HER? Laughing as Scarlet's (?) car drowned? Just... no. She's no less egocentric than Scarlet (who I kind of liked and want to know more about) and needs to stop being a hypocrite.
As for the thing with Sid... I can't make up my mind. On the one hand, they've apparently been attracted to each other for a while. On the other hand, Sid at least is in a supposedly monogamous relationship (though I'm willing to cut him some slack, since he thought Cassie had cheated and things between them were over) and Michelle really needs to sort out her shit with Tony before moving on. Plus, moving on with Tony's best friend might not be the best idea. And that might just be me, but while Cassie is a bit crazy and might turn out too much for Sid to handle, I can see her with him better than I can see Michelle.
Then again, I like the realism in this stupid, stupid decision. We'll see. All in all, not the best episode, but it was ok.

Stacey-Ann and Whitney are my favorites. And Claire is great too. She has such a strong face AND she's nice (so far~).
And as for Skins: I never fully liked/cared about Michelle and the fact that she got angry with Tony for being unable to have sex with her made me dislike her more. It was so, so selfish, not to mention ridiculous. I was glad when Tony's mom told her to leave.
I was hoping Cassie and Sid would get to be together *in person* at least once before a breakup. Now I want to see what happens next. I'm hoping for some Chris/Jal next week!
