Also, thank you to everyone who sent me good wishes! (I'm trying to thank everyone personally, poke me if you somehow got overlooked.) ♥
I already celebrated last night, hung out with my best friends and talked splatter movies, homemaking, ghost stories and politics, had too much food and almost fell asleep before midnight. I'm having one of my semi-regular semi-insomniac phases and it sucks. Anyway, they sang me songs and I got some ridiculously awesome presents, so it was worth staying up. A bunch of my friends gave me a sewing machine with all kinds of supplies, and the third "Sandman" volume, and delicious cookies, and Jonas gave me "Dr. Strangelove" on DVD, and I got tons of sweets and a new camera from my mom. Goodbye, AAA-battery-eating, only-two-settings-having, no-memory-card, 3 megapixel camera of annoyance! \o/
Today I'm just hanging out relaxing at home while everyone is off visiting their families for Easter, which I guess is not the worst way to spend a birthday. ... I just realized again that I'm 24 now. Where did time go? /moment of nostalgia
